Commerceinn.com uses any personal information that is supplied by you to enhance your experience within the realm of our Web site. We will not disclose any information that may personally identify you to parties other than commerceinn.com without your consent. There are exceptions. Registration and "Customization"

Commerceinn.com's registration forms ask you, the user, to supply contact information, such as your name and e-mail address, and demographic information, like zip code, age and/or income. We use your contact information to send you information about the company, such as new promotions, changes in the site and materials from some of our select partners, which might be of interest to you. Your contact information is also used by us to contact you, if necessary. You have every right to ask us to stop sending you information. We would hate to be too forward, so you have the option of choosing not to receive this type of information, or any other form of solicitation from our company or our partners. This is known as an opt-out choice, or at commerceinn.com -- Just say no!

We may also collect financial information, which would be used to check your qualifications for registration. An example of this kind of information would be a credit card number. The reason for collecting this information is not for use but to verify that you may be eligible to enter specific areas or sites within the confines of commerceinn.com.
This information is used only to protect the rights and sanctity of minors who use our site.

Demographic and profile data are also collected by our site. We use this data to your advantage, because this is where we attempt to understand your needs and wants and bring you the best possible web site. We also want to make sure you are receiving the type of information which may be of interest to you. We track our users as a whole rather than on an individual basis. We do not want to know where you are going specifically, we do want to know where the masses are going within our site, so that we can build a better service for you, our end user. We share this "aggregate" information with our advertisers, so that they can know whom it is they are reaching. Essentially, we want you to be presented with the goods and services which appeal to you and your lifestyle.

Cookies

A cookie is a small, round, sweet cake-like -- no, no, no -- a cookie is a small data file that Web sites commonly write to your hard drive when you visit them. These files are "encrypted" (you will see this word again) for your added security. A cookie file contains information that can identify you "anonymously" in order to track your behavior within our site.  commerceinn.com uses these cookies (preferably chocolate chip) as a way to measure activity within the site in order to continually improve your experience and keep you coming back.

Cookies attempt to make your browsing experience a whole lot easier because they become "friends" with your computer.  This is the site where everyone remembers your name -- I mean, computer. The cookie does not identify you personally, but rather identifies your computer, so you are safe to navigate anonymously, while gaining access to the member specific areas without having to log in all the time.

Contrary to popular belief, a cookie cannot read data off of your hard drive or read cookie files created by other sites, but cookies may give you a tummy ache if eaten too close to your bedtime.

You are also given the opportunity to turn these cookies off if you wish to. FYI, most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browsers to refuse all cookies or tell it to inform you of when a cookie is being sent.  The drawback: your experience within our Web site will not be personalized, which is the most enjoyable way to appreciate our site.

Orders

Commerceinn.com uses forms for customers to request information, make suggestions and/or comments and to purchase products, information and services. We collect information, such as your e-mail address, in case we need to contact you with regard to your order. Or, we might just want to reach out and make sure you are happy and satisfied with your ordering experience within commerceinn.com.

We also collect demographic information, such as zip codes, to track just where our partners are selling all of those "Stretch Armstrongs". Because, as we all know, this is a very important fact for our advertisers. We want to make sure they are getting the correct advertising information to the right people. Who wants to see an advertisement for suntan lotion in Siberia?  And you already know that you have the opportunity to opt-out of contributing to our site's future well being. Just say no!

We also use unique identifiers to recognize and check the qualifications of our users. These identifiers might include social security number, birth date or identification number. This information is collected to verify the user's identity and for use as account numbers within our system. We do not want someone else to enter our site, pretend to be you and go on a crazy shopping spree. We also do not want your children hopping around our site masquerading as forty-five-year-olds. We use this information for your protection and do not disseminate this to anyone, period.

The financial data we collect, such as credit card information, is used to bill you for the products, services and/or information in which you intend to purchase. We also use the information to check your qualifications with respect to navigating through out the commerceinn.com Web site. This information will only be used to fulfill your order(s) and will not be shared with anyone outside of commerceinn.com unless the store in which you make a purchase at is not a Merchant Member within commerceinn.com. If this happens to be the case, the information will be used by the merchant.  commerceinn.com does not own the store(s) and the use of any customer information is the sole responsibility of the merchant. For further information regarding the merchant's use of customer information, contact the merchant store directly.

Security

Commerceinn.com uses industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers, which "encrypt" or in more understandable terms, turn your information into scrambled eggs, so no one else can read it unless they are "all the kings horses and all the kings men" (Humpty Dumpty, get it?).

Survey Says . . .

Commerceinn.com uses surveys to help make the site more appealing to its users by collecting data with respect to their tastes, preferences, likes, needs and wants. The only way we can possibly insure that we are doing this is by gaining your personal input. Some of the information we collect may be shared with our advertisers on an aggregate basis, and in no way will it be disclosed on a personal basis.

And The Winner Is . . .

We are contest freaks here at commerceinn.com. If there is something to give away, it's contest time!  When you register to enter a contest, we may ask you for information regarding your e-mail address. Well, how else were we going to inform you that you just won that BRAND NEW CAR.  We also collect demographic information so that we may evaluate where all of the contest addicts are and build a psychiatric clinic in the area, in order to rehabilitate them. Seriously, we use the information to make visiting our site easy and fun. If you do not wish to volunteer information, just say no and opt-out quietly. We also need to disclose that all contests are conducted in full accordance with United States federal and state laws. The full rules and all information about such contests are clearly posted during each event.

Surf's Up . . .

As a measure of user interest, we track the search terms that are entered into our site.  We create aggregate reports on your demographics (which we explained earlier) and traffic patterns for our advertisers and partners. This allows our advertisers to advertise more effectively and allows you to receive advertisements that are most relevant to you (remember, suntan lotion, Siberia?). They need information like this to determine how effectively their advertising investment dollars are working.

Speaking Your Peace . . .

Commerceinn.com makes chat rooms, forums, message boards and news groups available to you. We want to stress the fact that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise extreme caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. These areas do not fall under the terms set forth in this Privacy Statement. Use caution when posting information in any of these areas.

Kids, Children, and Minors

Commerceinn.com takes special care to protect the safety and privacy of the young people that use our site. We request that individuals under the age of 13 not submit or post any information to the site without a parent's or guardian's consent. We all understand how quickly they would like to grow up, but this is for everyone's protection. commerceinn.com will not request or knowingly collect from any minor any information that can be traced to them, such as e-mail address, name, or information pertaining to their family. Unless we are notified in advance by the parent or guardian granting us permission to use such information, commerceinn.com will not knowingly use information that a child provides for any marketing or promotional purpose.

Links To Other Sites . . . Going Outside The commerceinn.com Universe

As a user you should be aware that when you are surfing commerceinn.com, you could be directed to other sites that are beyond our control. There are links to other sites form pages within our site that take you outside of commerceinn.com.
